6/27/2023 0 Comments A walk to remember novel![]() They are just different enough.Īll this being said I have not read The Notebook, so I'm not sure I'm allow to say it's not as good, but this is just how I feel based on what I've seen and read. There are differences between the two but I think I like that. This novel is a bit of twisted take on your average romance novel. I think because I saw the film first and have always loved it I for once enjoy both the novel and film basically equally. A Walk to Remember was the first Nicholas Sparks book I had ever read, and it was just about perfect. I finally read the book last year and loved it just as much as the movie or more. I've watched it so many times now that I can't even count them, and I still cry every time. However, the first time a saw A Walk to Remember I fell in love with it. ![]() Sure I thought it was a good movie, but it didn't stand out to me. All of my friends were so in love with the movie the Notebook, but I could never see why. I saw both the movies before reading either of the novels and just from that I liked A Walk to Remember so much better. ![]() I haven't personally read The Notebook, but I have seen the film and I agree that A Walk to Remember is the better of the two. ![]() 6/26/2023 0 Comments Tokyo ghoul volume 1![]() ![]() In the occasion, Haise recognizes Serpent as Nishio, and briefly remembers that he is actually Kaneki, whose life was spared by Arima and now lives a new life with no memories of his former self. His acclaimed 2006 book The Arrival tells the story of a migrant arriving in a confusing new world of floating objects and unusual creatures. While a wide-eyed bug in a suit might seem like a strange idea for picture book, it's a comfortable fit for Tan, who has spent a career creating dream-like worlds of monsters, machinery and oversized animals. He heads to the roof of his grey office building, where an unexpected transformation takes place. On the day of his retirement, with no party and no handshake, the cicada decides it's time to say goodbye.
